    Align the internal speakers with your ears — this is the step that decides whether it sounds good or muffled. Adjust until they sit centred.

    Start listening at a comfortable volume

    Begin low and raise it only as far as you need. Loud audio in a band you may fall asleep in is worth avoiding.

  • Take the electronics out before washing the band, and let the fabric dry completely before putting them back.
  • Listen at a comfortable volume. Audio close to the ear for hours at a time is a hearing risk at high volume.
  • Do not wear it while cycling in traffic, or anywhere you need to hear what is behind you.
  • Do not charge it while wearing it, and use the supplied cable only.
  • If you use it to fall asleep, set the audio to stop on a timer rather than running all night.

Is the sound as good as earbuds?

No, and nobody should buy it expecting that. Flat speakers held near the ear give clear speech and pleasant music, not detailed bass. What you get instead is the ability to lie on your side and to hear the world around you.

Will it stay on overnight?

Around 5 hours per charge on the manufacturer's figures, so most of a night rather than all of it. If you use it to fall asleep, that is usually more than enough.

Can I wash it?

Yes — take the electronics module out first, wash the fabric, and let it dry fully before reassembling. That is the one instruction that matters for how long it lasts.

Which texture do I get?

This listing has two colour options. The manufacturer makes both a fleece and a knit version and they are sold as separate options — check which one is selected before you order.

Does it work for calls?

Yes. There is a microphone in the module and a three-button control panel for play, skip and answering.
