WHY THIS ONE

Four things worth knowing before it arrives

A spring bar is one of the simplest pieces of training equipment there is. What separates a good one from a dangerous one is how the springs are covered and how the adjustment locks.

Three settings, one bar
Move the pin and the resistance changes. That is three levels from one piece of kit, instead of buying a heavier bar in six months.
The springs stay covered
Twin spring sections sit inside a cover, so fingers and clothing stay away from the coils as they compress. Bare-spring bars are how people get pinched.
A pin that locks
A spring-loaded button drops into a position hole and stays there. Confirm it is fully engaged before you load it β€” the design makes that easy to check.
Foam over the grips
Thick foam handgrips, because a bar you bend with your full chest strength is one you need to hold without the metal biting.

HOW TO USE IT

Adjust. Lock. Check.

  1. 1

    Inspect it before every session

Check the cover, the springs and the pin. Do not use it if anything is bent, split or loose.

  2. 2

Set the resistance while it is unloaded

Press the spring-loaded button, slide the bar to the position hole you want, and let the pin drop fully home. Never adjust it while there is tension on the bar.

  3. 3

Bend against the spring, return with control

Both hands on the grips, bend steadily, then let it come back slowly rather than letting it spring open. The controlled return is the part that matters.

Follow the product instructions for adjustment. Where they differ from anything here, follow the instructions.

IN USE

Where it earns its place

At home
Chest and arms without a bench, a rack or anything to bolt down.
Between sets at the gym
Thirty seconds of pressing while you wait for a machine.
Warm-ups
Light setting, high repetitions, before anything heavier.
In a bag
It is one solid piece and it travels, which is more than most chest equipment manages.

Before you use it

  • Confirm the pin is fully engaged before every set. A bar that comes apart under load is the main risk with this design.
  • Adjust the resistance only when the bar is unloaded.
  • Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from the spring sections while it is compressing.
  • Never let the bar spring open on its own β€” return it under control every repetition.
  • Stop if you feel sharp pain in a shoulder, elbow or wrist rather than muscle effort, and do not use it if the cover is split.

This is fitness equipment, not a medical device, and it does not treat any condition. If you have a shoulder, elbow or wrist problem, or a heart condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using resistance equipment.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Questions people ask

Are the 30, 40 and 50 kg ratings accurate?

They are the supplier's numbers and we print them as exactly that β€” the listing images say the same. Treat them as a relative scale you can trust rather than a calibrated measurement.

Which setting should I start on?

The lowest. A spring bar feels easy for the first two repetitions and very different by the tenth, and the safest way to find your level is from underneath it.

What muscles does it work?

Chest, shoulders, upper back and forearms, depending on the grip and the angle. It is a pressing and squeezing tool, so it is strongest on chest and arms.

Is it safe for a beginner?

Yes, on the lowest setting and with the pin checked. The two rules that matter are: adjust it unloaded, and never let it snap open.

Can I use it one-handed?

No. It is designed to be bent with both hands, and one-handed use puts the load somewhere the frame was not built for.

How does the multi-buy discount work?

It comes off on its own at checkout, with no code to type. Two items anywhere in your basket take 10% off, three take 15%, four take 20%. They do not have to be the same product.

When will it arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and usually arrive within 7–12 business days after that; tracking is emailed as soon as the parcel leaves. If it is not for you, unused items can be returned within 30 days β€” email us first for the return address.
