WHY THIS ONE

Four things a plain yoga belt does not have

A flat webbing belt is fine if you can already reach your foot. Everything below is for people who cannot, which is most of us.

A cradle, not a loop
The padded pocket holds the ball and heel of the foot rather than cutting a line across it, which is what lets you stay in a stretch long enough for it to count.
Loops all along the strap
Choose the loop that matches today's range instead of gathering webbing in your fist. Move up a loop as the stretch gets easier β€” that is the progress marker.
It extends your reach
Reaching for your toes limits the stretch to how far your arms go. Holding a loop means the leg decides how far, not the shoulders.
Secure without buckles
A wide hook-and-loop wrap secures the cradle to the foot, so nothing metal sits between the strap and your skin.

HOW TO USE IT

Set up in three steps

  1. 1

Place your foot in the cradle

Sitting down, with the padded section against the ball of the foot and the heel settled into the pocket.

  2. 2

    Secure the wrap comfortably

Snug, not restrictive, with the straps routed flat and no twists. Inspect the webbing and stitching before you load it.

  3. 3

Hold a loop and guide gently

Lie back, choose the loop that lets you feel a stretch without straining, and hold it. Slow, controlled movement β€” stop if discomfort occurs.

Use slow, controlled movement. Stop if discomfort occurs rather than working through it.

IN USE

Where it earns its place

After a run
Hamstrings and calves, lying on your back where the stretch is easiest to control.

Before you use it

  • Inspect the webbing, stitching and closure before every session. Do not use a strap with fraying or a lifting seam.
  • Ease into a stretch and hold it. Bouncing or pulling hard against a strap is how people strain the muscle they are trying to lengthen.
  • A stretch should feel like tension, never sharp pain, and never any tingling down the leg.
  • Do not use it to pull a joint past its natural range, and never wrap it around your neck.
  • If you have a recent injury, a hip or knee condition, or nerve pain down the leg, talk to a healthcare professional before stretching with a strap.

This is a stretching aid, not a medical device, and it does not treat any condition. Stretching into pain causes injuries rather than preventing them. Anyone with a recent injury or a diagnosed condition should take advice before using it.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Questions people ask

Is this a rehabilitation device?

No, and we are going to be plain about it. The supplier lists this strap under a lot of clinical-sounding names. It is a stretching aid for general flexibility. If you have been given exercises after an injury or a stroke, ask your physiotherapist before adding equipment.

How is this different from a plain yoga belt?

A yoga belt is flat webbing with a buckle. This has a padded pocket shaped for the foot and a row of pre-sewn loops. If you can already reach your foot comfortably, a belt is fine. If you cannot, this is the one that works.

Can I use it for arms and shoulders?

Yes β€” hold a loop in each hand for shoulder stretches. The foot cradle is the distinctive part, but the loops work anywhere.

How long should I hold a stretch?

Twenty to thirty seconds is a common range for general flexibility, repeated a few times. Longer is not automatically better, and neither is harder.

Is it one strap or a set?

One strap. The listing images show it on its own, and that is exactly what arrives.

How does the multi-buy discount work?

It comes off on its own at checkout, with no code to type. Two items anywhere in your basket take 10% off, three take 15%, four take 20%. They do not have to be the same product.

When will it arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and usually arrive within 7–12 business days after that; tracking is emailed as soon as the parcel leaves. If it is not for you, unused items can be returned within 30 days β€” email us first for the return address.
