    Position it over your shoulder

    Contoured section over the shoulder cap, the sleeve section down the upper arm. Get this centred before you fasten anything.

    Secure the chest strap

    Across the chest and under the opposite arm, snug enough to hold the wrap in place without pulling at it.

  3. 3

    Adjust the arm fastening, then choose your settings

    Close the arm band, then pick a heat level and, if you want it, a vibration mode. Keep the fit comfortable, not tight.

  • Keep sessions to about twenty minutes, and never fall asleep wearing it.
  • Stop if the skin reddens, stings, or the area is tender the next morning.
  • Charge it with the supplied cable only, and do not use it while it is charging.

How long does a charge last?

The manufacturer publishes around 75 minutes of use per charge, which is three or four twenty-minute sessions. Runtime drops on the highest heat setting — that is true of every battery-powered heat product.

Will it fit me?

The chest strap covers 27 to 55 inches, which is a wide adult range, and the arm fastening adjusts separately. Measure around the fullest part of your chest before ordering if you are near either end.

Can I use just the heat?

Yes. Heat and vibration are separate controls and either runs on its own.

Does it work on a knee or an elbow?

The manufacturer designs it to be fixed around other joints as well, and the shape does adapt. It is cut for a shoulder though, so that is where it fits best and what we would buy it for.

Is it a medical device?

No. It applies warmth and vibration and that is all. It does not treat frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, arthritis or any other condition. A shoulder that keeps hurting is worth showing to a healthcare professional.
