HOW TO USE IT

Three steps, and skin contact is everything

    Clip and peel

    Charge first. Press the controller onto the pad until it clicks, then peel the protective film off the pad — keep the film, it goes back on afterwards.

  2. 2

    Clean, dry skin

    Press the pad flat onto the muscle — the top of a shoulder, the upper back, a calf. Bare skin, no lotion. A pad that is half-stuck is a pad that stings.

  3. 3

    Level one, then up

    Switch on at the lowest intensity and go up a step at a time until it feels like a firm tap. Switch off before you peel the pad away.

Questions people ask

One photo shows a battery compartment. Is this rechargeable?

Yes — the option we stock is the rechargeable controller, charged over USB. The manufacturer also makes a version that takes batteries, and one of the gallery photos shows that one. If the parcel that arrives takes batteries instead of a cable, email us and we will put it right.

Do I get one or two?

One controller and one pad. The manufacturer also sells two-, three- and four-piece sets, and some photos show two units side by side — those are different options. For two areas at once, order two; the second takes 10% off the basket automatically.

What does it feel like?

At a low level, a light tapping under the pad. Higher up, the muscle twitches on its own in time with the pulse — odd the first time, normal after that. It should never sting; if it does, the pad is not flat on the skin or the level is too high.

How long do the pads last?

The sticky layer wears with use, skin oil and dust. Put the film back on after every session and keep them off lotion, and it lasts many sessions. When it stops gripping, it is time for a replacement pad, not a higher intensity.

Is this a medical device?

No. It is a comfort product for tight muscles. It does not treat nerve pain, injuries or any condition, and it does not build muscle in any meaningful sense. Pain that keeps returning belongs with a healthcare professional.
