WHY THIS ONE

Four reasons to hold the roller rather than lie on it

A foam roller on the floor gives you exactly one pressure setting: everything you weigh. That works for a back and it is far too much for a calf.

You control the pressure with your hands
A handled roller lets you press as hard or as lightly as you like. A floor roller gives you one pressure β€” your entire body weight β€” which is why so many people give up on them.
It reaches your own arms and shoulders
The places a floor roller cannot get to without a second person. Anywhere your hands reach, this reaches.
Four rollers that follow the shape
The heads move independently, so the roller stays in contact around a calf or a thigh instead of bridging across the curve and only touching in two places.
Nothing to charge, ever
No battery, no motor, no cable, nothing to break. It goes in a gym bag and works in ten years exactly as well as it works today.

HOW TO USE IT

Three steps, and slow beats hard

  1. 1

    Take both handles

One hand each side, with the rollers flat against the muscle. Long, slow passes along the length of the muscle rather than quick scrubbing back and forth.

  2. 2

    Light first, then lean in

Start with almost no pressure to find out how the area feels today, then add weight through your hands. Stay off bone and off joints entirely.

  3. 3

A minute or two per area

Sixty to ninety seconds on a calf or a quad is plenty. If a spot is sharp rather than tender, move away from it rather than working harder on it.

Ninety seconds an area is enough. Rolling one sore spot for ten minutes leaves it more irritated, not looser.

IN USE

Where it earns its place

Calves and quads
The obvious ones, after a run or a day on your feet.
Your own shoulders
Reachable with a handled roller and not with a floor one.
Forearms
For hands that spend the day on a keyboard or a tool.
In a gym bag
Small, light, and there is nothing on it that can run out.

Before you use it

  • Do not roll directly over bone, a joint, the spine, or the back of the knee.
  • Keep off bruises, open skin, inflamed areas and varicose veins.
  • Tender is fine, sharp is not. Sharp pain means move somewhere else, not press harder.
  • If you have a blood clotting condition, are on blood thinners, or have osteoporosis, ask a healthcare professional before using any massage roller.
  • Do not use it on a fresh injury or anywhere that is swollen.

This is a fitness and comfort product, not a medical device. It does not treat injuries or any medical condition. Pain that persists after a few days, or that came from a specific injury, belongs with a healthcare professional.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Questions people ask

Why not just buy a foam roller for the floor?

A floor roller is better for big areas like the upper back, where you want body weight behind it. A handled one is better everywhere your own body weight is too much, and it is the only kind that reaches your own arms and shoulders. They do different jobs; this is the one you can control.

Which colour will I get?

Blue or black, whichever you pick β€” those are the two we stock. Some of the manufacturer photos show a pink version, which is not one of the options here, so choose from the swatches rather than the gallery.

Should it hurt?

It should feel like firm pressure on a tender muscle. Sharp, electric or radiating pain is a signal to stop and move away from that spot, not a sign it is working.

Does it get rid of muscle knots?

It applies pressure to tight muscle, which most people find relieving. Beyond that, the science on what a knot is and what rolling does to one is not settled, and we would rather say so than repeat the usual claims about breaking up scar tissue.

Before or after exercise?

Either. Lighter and quicker beforehand as part of a warm-up, slower and firmer afterwards. Both are common; neither is wrong.

How does the multi-buy discount work?

It comes off on its own at checkout, with no code to type. Two items anywhere in your basket take 10% off, three take 15%, four take 20%. They do not have to be the same product or the same colour.

When will it arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and usually arrive within 7–12 business days after that; tracking is emailed as soon as the parcel leaves. If it is not for you, unused items can be returned within 30 days β€” email us first for the return address.
